Site Reliability Engineer

Additional Job Description

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field required. A combination of education plus equivalent work experience may be considered.

At least 3+ years of systems engineering/development experience
Have some experience with highly scalable / available service-oriented architectures, and understanding of monitoring and metrics Have built and maintained highly-available distributed application
Have worked with diverse stacks, including both state-full and stateless services
Strong preference for automation (Chef, Puppet, SaltStack).
Strong scripting and experience building diverse, robust tooling
Have designed and built diverse and highly-available distributed services from the ground up
Experience building, scaling and supporting Hadoop clusters
Experience with AWS technologies. Experience with networking in AWS a plus
Proficiency in Java, PHP, Golang and Python
Experience in data-driven capacity planning
Experience defining and supporting continuous integration and deployment
