Responsibilities:

You will write high-performance, high-availability code that reflects a constant understanding of the business impacts. The supply chain and fulfillment systems require large-scale real time processing of large amounts of data, including heuristic and algorithmic network flow optimization. In the fulfillment space, there are also dynamic scheduling algorithms under uncertainty and interaction with third-party and in-house mechanical and robotics systems. Minimum qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Experience with highly scalable/available service-oriented architectures.

• Experience in Microservices, preferably using DropWizard

• Strong architecture and design skills. Be able to design, build and lead others to build systems that will be robust in the face of change.

• Indisputable command of computer science basics (data structures, sorting/searching algorithms, order analysis).

• Expertise in at least one object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#.

• Experience with relational databases, such as MariaDB/MySQL or SQLServer.

• BS in Computer Science or related field. A combination of education plus equivalent work experience will be considered. Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS related technologies.

• Experience with message queues (e.g. ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/SQS) at scale.

• Demonstrated ability to lead other engineers and mentor less experienced engineers

• Experience with Scrum, XP or other agile methodologies a plus
